This sweet smoky chicken has an excellent flavor and is quick to make. Using Stevia as a sweetener is perfect for diabetics. Serve with a leafy green salad and side of asparagus or broccoli for the perfect flat abs meal.

Sweet Smoky Chicken Ingredients

  • 4 bone-in, skin-on, organic chicken thighs
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 Tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon allspice
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 packet Stevia
  • dash of salt and pepper

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
  2. Rinse the chicken and pat it dry. Place in a large ziplock bag.
  3. In a small bowl, combine the remaining ingredients. Add to the ziplock bag and toss until the chicken is fully coated.
  4. Place the coated chicken thighs on a broiling pan. Bake for 40 minutes.
